| Tracking down stagnation and addressing it
A significant concern for executives, with regard to personnel management, is stagnating employees. Probably more so than inefficient decision making and bureaucratic procedures. It drains energy and requires excessive time and attention. It is a major source of decreased productivity. The enormous relief that is felt by employees when a moderately functioning coworker is replaced by a competent and energetic one is a common experience.
We believe that productivity, creativity and personnel satisfaction go very well together, that they in fact reinforce each other, so we work on both sides of the same coin. On the one hand there are the pragmatic and goal oriented managers and human resource specialists who need to disarm the bureaucracy and on the other hand we address the issues of prevention, early identification and appropriate intervention of employee stagnation. This creates an energetic, innovative and nurturing environment. Our specialty is: an integrated practical approach which renews the existing organisation by optimising the relationship between employees and their management. This is accomplished by the introduction of, often uncomplicated, procedures and instruments. This systematic approach provides room and direction to a bottom-up, a more organic renewal in the organisation. In order to implement this process, there are some fundamental questions that need to be answered: who are we; what is our focus; how do we achieve that focus and what do we optimise. |
